Dick N2OUX

Richard H. Warner (Dick, N2OUX, member #928), age 80, passed away on December 3, 2025, at Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Born on April 6, 1945, in DeRuyter, NY, Richard grew up there, attended school, and played basketball. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1965 and later worked as a truck driver, including at Great American Food Stores. An avid amateur radio operator, he loved connecting with family and friends and cherished his dog, Buddy.

Richard is survived by his children: Steve, Sandy, Rich, and Ashley; several grandchildren; and a sister, Mary.

Aaron Edgar Proffer (Aaron KE0BEN, Member #1357), age 80, passed away at his home in Scott City, MO, on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was born on July 22, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, MO.  

Aaron retired from Scott City Schools, where he served as a custodian. He was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Scott City, the Knights of Columbus, and the Elks Lodge #1810 in Chaffee, MO.  

He is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as very special friends and caregivers, Bradley and Sandy Ressel. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
