We hope this message finds you well and enjoying the warmer days as we head into a new season together. Today’s newsletter brings a mix of gratitude, transitions, and heartfelt appreciation for the incredible community we share at BBC.
First and foremost, we want to express our deepest thanks to Sy (K8SYA) and Teri for their dedicated service as net controllers. Their commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn about the ins and outs of running our net calls have made a lasting impact. It’s never easy to say goodbye to such valued members, but we understand that life sometimes brings personal obligations that must take priority. Sy will be stepping down as net controller after next Friday morning’s session, and we’re grateful they’ve given us time to find a suitable replacement. Please join us in wishing Sy a smooth surgery and both Sy and Teri all the best in their upcoming endeavors.
As we move forward, we encourage anyone interested in stepping up as net controller to reach out. It’s a rewarding opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to the club’s continued success. Whether you’re a seasoned member or just starting out, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
